Samsung Ultra-Slim External USB DVD/RW Black Optical Drive, SE-218GN/RSBD
This sleek USB DVD drive is perfect for systems that do not have a built in optical drive. It can be used to play films, music or install software.
The elegant SE-218GN from Samsung is just 14mm thick and weighs less than 255g making the DVD writer so compact and lightweight that you can take it anywhere with ease. Visually, the SE-218GN matches in with the metal cover on the current Samsung Ultrabooks. The DVD writer only needs a USB port for power and data transfer. The burner writes DVDs at speeds of up to 8x and CDs at up to 24x. The DVD writer works with the Windows and the latest Mac OS versions. In addition, the burner’s firmware is updated automatically when the connected PC is connected to the Internet.
