Quiet PC Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Antennae Kit

This kit comprises two dual-band antennae and two RF ‘pigtails’ which connect a NUC Wi-Fi card to the Akasa fanless NUC chassis.

  1. Brings high performance wireless capability to the Akasa NUC chassis
  2. Compatible with Intel NUC 7th, 8th and 10th Gen only
  3. Includes 2 x RP-SMA to MHF4 pigtail wires plus two RF antennae
  4. Compatible with the latest wireless M.2 NGFF cards
  5. Robustly manufactured and easy to install

Akasa’s Fanless NUC Chassis is machined from aluminium and is therefore excellent at providing electromagnetic shielding to the NUC circuit board. As a side-effect of this, if the NUC is fitted with a wireless card, it is necessary to use external antennae in order to allow the radio signals to be reliably received and transmitted.

This antennae kit includes two custom SMA ‘pigtail’ cables which connect between the wireless card and the rear of the NUC chassis. In addition, two 2dBi aerials are provided - one for Wi-Fi and one for Bluetooth. It doesn’t matter which pigtail or aerial is connected to which U.FL socket on the Mini PCIe card since Wi-Fi and Bluetooth both use similar radio frequency bands.

I doubt you will find a more helpful, friendly PC supplier than Quiet PC anywhere

As a professional Software Engineer, I have dealt with a LOT of technology companies over the years, and I have never found one that matches Quiet PC on service. I had very particular requirements, which they were happy to discuss at length, until we had agreed a PC that was perfect for my needs and still within my modest budget. The fact that my new PC is entirely silent (except when I am using the DVD drive), is a huge bonus. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are thinking of buying a new PC, start by talking to the friendly and extremely knowledgeable guys at Quiet PC.
